The administration of the local prison in Larache 2 announced that the prisoner (M.S.), who was permanently sentenced to “forming a gang to prepare and commit terrorist acts,” committed suicide this morning by hanging.

The prison institution explained that the aforementioned prisoner committed suicide “by wrapping his underpants around his neck and tying him to the window of the room’s toilet.”

Immediately after the incident was discovered, the source added, “The competent public prosecutor and the family of the deceased prisoner were informed of the death, in accordance with what is stipulated in the law regulating prison institutions.”
