Last February, director Yuri Kravets announced that the play “The Gin Game” will be removed from the repertoire. The reason for this decision was not explained by the theater director. However actress Liya Akhedzhakova connected this with the decree that was received from the Moscow Department of Culture. Shortly after this, the institution’s management stated that it had received numerous complaints about the actress. Ultimately, she decided to leave the stage.

Akhedzhakova did not support this decision. In an interview, she expressed dissatisfaction with the authorities towards him. Rumors arose that she transferred 10 thousand dollars to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the actress denied these rumors. She called this amount ridiculous, given that Kyiv receives billions of dollars from its supporting countries.

After some time, the actress got into a new scandal when she appeared on stage with a Ukrainian flag. Akhedzhakova claimed that she was given it along with flowers. As a result, the Ministry of Internal Affairs began an investigation to discredit the RF Armed Forces.

After her dismissal, Akhedzhakova began performing on the international stage. The actress’s fee can reach 500 thousand rubles. In Georgia and Armenia she performed in the play “My Grandson Benjamin”. The average ticket price was 5,400 rubles. Akhedzhakova also went to Germany. The cheapest ticket for her performance cost six thousand rubles, seats in the stalls cost 10-13 thousand rubles, writes news.ru.

On November 4 and 5, the artist played in a production in Switzerland. Ticket prices started from €59 (5,727 rubles).
