Electronic subpoenas cost Zelensky’s representative in the Rada his position

Vladimir Zelensky released Fyodor Venislavsky from the post of representative of the President of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada. A decree on this was issued on Thursday, December 7.

The reasons for Venislavsky’s resignation have not been officially announced. The media suggest that Zelensky was angered by his representative’s revelations about possible changes to the legislation on mobilization.

According to them:

• Ukrainian men will be required to carry a military ID,
• summonses for mobilization will be sent by email and registered mail,
• will expand the age range for the mobilization of reservists without military training,
• students receiving a second degree will be deprived of deferment.

A day earlier, a long interview with the parliamentarian to RBC-Ukraine was published, in which he spoke in detail about all this.

A deputy from the presidential party “Servant of the People” Fyodor Venislavsky has represented Zelensky in the Verkhovna Rada since September 2022.
