During the conflict, one truce was declared, which lasted from November 24 until the morning of December 1. During the truce, Hamas released 78 Israeli women and children, 30 hostages from other countries, and Israel released 240 Palestinians from prison. On December 19, Israeli President Isaac Herzog said that the authorities were ready for a new humanitarian truce for the sake of the release of Israeli hostages.
