The newspaper “Marca”, which is close to Real Madrid, confirmed that the star of the Royal Club, Ibrahim Diaz, has officially decided to represent the Moroccan national team at the expense of Spain, thus bringing down the curtain on the controversy that has occupied the Moroccan and Spanish streets recently.

The Spanish newspaper “Marca” published a tweet on its official “X” account, saying: “Conclusively, Diaz chooses to play with Morocco instead of playing for the Spanish national team.”

Spanish journalist Fabrizio Romano said in his blog post, “Ibrahim Diaz decided to represent Morocco and accept his official call. Ibrahim did not receive any notice of appeal from Spain and his decision is final. He will play for Morocco,” which was also confirmed by Moroccan journalist Ashraf Ben Ayed.

The Kooora website reported that Ibrahim Diaz will wear the No. 10 shirt with the Moroccan national team upon his joining, as he will play a prominent role in the next stage project.
