Mouloudia Oujda protests “strongly” against the refereeing team for its match against Wydad Casablanca – Today 24

The Mouloudia Club of Oujdia denounced the level, which it said was “poor and shocking,” to the refereeing team, led by the arena referee and the VAR referees, in its match against Wydad Athletic Club, which took place yesterday evening, Wednesday, as the seventh round of the professional tournament in its first division was postponed.

Sinbad Al Sharq explained, in his report, that the referee overlooked the expulsion of Wydad’s Congolese defender, Arsene Zola, after dragging and dropping player Shoaib Faidi, and depriving him of an opportunity to score. There was also a fictional expulsion of Imad Al-Sarbut, although his intervention was not reckless and was normal, and did not require a red card to be shown, according to what was stated in the report.

The team indicated in the same report that Wydad Athletic Club’s second goal was not legitimate, after the ball touched Junior Sambo, the opponent’s striker, noting that the player’s position was in an offside position during the goal pass. The third goal came from an incorrect corner kick, as the ball touched the opposing team’s player and left the playing field.

Mouloudia Oujda confirmed that the expulsion of its coach, Fawzi Gamal, was wrong, as he did not display any behavior inconsistent with sporting ethics, nor did he utter any word that offended the refereeing team, noting that the opposing team’s player used his elbow and hit his player in order to gain possession of the ball, according to the statement. What was always stated in the communication.

The management committee of the Mouloudia Club of Oujdia denounced what it called “the arbitration massacre,” submitting its strong protest, while sending clear warning signals to the arbitration directorate and the National League of Professional Football, in order to deal seriously with these mistakes, which it said were “serious,” blaming them. The arbitration trio and the VAR referees, the makers of what they called “the arbitration farce,” bear full responsibility.

The Mouloudia Club’s management committee indicated that it is ready to move forward to take all legal measures that would preserve the team’s rights and guarantee the principle of equal opportunities that we all seek in the professional tournament.

Wydad Athletic Club came from behind with a clean goal against MC Oujda, to a victory by three goals to one, in the match that took place yesterday, Thursday, on the ground of Al-Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia, in a postponed match for the seventh round of the professional tournament in its first division.

Wydad Athletic Club raised its score to 16 points in fifth place, equal in number of points with Moghreb Tetouan, which is in the fourth row, and Fath Sports Club, sixth, while Mouloudia Oujda’s score froze at the seventh point in the penultimate rank, with the same number of points as Youssoufia Berrechid, which is in 14th place.
