In 2024, the administration of the Voronezh region intends to invest 987 million rubles in various projects aimed at developing tourism in the region. According to a member of the Committee on Tourism and Development of Tourist Infrastructure of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Andrey Markov, work on laying communications began in 2023, and in 2024 construction of the resort itself will begin. He also noted that the government subsidizes interest rates on loans for hotel construction and invests money in infrastructure such as electricity, water, gas and roads.

In addition, 290 million rubles will be allocated for the creation of modular accommodation facilities for tourists, such as campsites and prefabricated hotels. These facilities will increase the number of available places for vacationers.

Additionally, the region will receive 97 million rubles for the implementation of programs for the development of tourism and the organization of festivals, as well as 110 million rubles for the construction and improvement of 10-12 beaches.

Analyzing the tourism potential of the region, Markov noted its high level, especially due to the comfortable climate. The Voronezh region, according to him, has decent facilities, although they need improvement to reach the federal level. Among the popular attractions he included the Kostenki Museum-Reserve, Divnogorye and the Belogorye Cave Monastery.

This year it is planned to build modular hotels in various areas of the region, which will increase the total capacity by 188 rooms and accommodate at least 560 people at a time. At the same time, the tourist flow is expected to increase to 944.8 thousand people based on the results of last year.
