Raja Athletic Club concluded its second winter contract, by including Ivorian Hervé Gueye, in a free transfer deal, after terminating his contract with Al-Fateh Sports Club, so that the Green Team continues to strengthen its personnel composition, as the first Moroccan team to enter the winter Mercato, which will officially open in Morocco next January.

Raja Athletic published a blog post on its social media accounts, containing a group of pictures of the Ivorian player in the team’s shirt, commenting on it by saying, “We are happy to welcome Hervé Guay…let the journey begin.”

The contract with Ivorian Hervé Guay came to strengthen the midfield of Raja Athletic Club during the second leg of the professional tournament in its first division and the Throne Cup competition, with the hope of returning to African competitions next season, as the Green Team is expected to sign other players in the next few days.

Raja Athletic currently occupies the lead in the professional championship in its first division with 27 points, one point behind its closest rival, the Royal Army, and four points behind its traditional rival, Wydad Athletic.
