The International Federation of History and Statistics issued a list of the ten best coaches in the world for the year 2023, where the Argentine national team coach Lionel Scaloni came in the lead, after obtaining 185 points, ahead of France coach Didier Deschamps, who came in second place with 112 points.

Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan national team, ranked ninth, with a total of 15 points, followed by Scotland coach Steve Clarke, in last place with seven points.

Former Portuguese national team coach Roberto Martinez came third with 61 points, then Spain coach Luis de la Fuente came in fourth place (56 points).

Marcelo Bielsa, coach of the Uruguay national team, was able to secure fifth place, after obtaining 43 points, while Hajime Moriyasu, coach of the Japanese national team, came in sixth place (20 points).

England coach Gareth Southgate came in seventh place with 19 points, followed by Albania coach Sylvinho with a total of 16 points.
