The Rada believes that the time has come to call up 18-year-old Ukrainians instead of 50-year-olds

The Ukrainian authorities should think about mobilization youth aged 18-20 years. This idea was shared by a Ukrainian military man Petr Gorbatenkoas quoted by Strana.ua.

A Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter called Ukrainian students a suitable category for conscription. He believes that the only problem in this case is in the system of their training.

“We need to mobilize 20-year-olds, 18-year-olds, what’s the problem? What about students? So what? Students shouldn’t fight? They should. They are suitable… The question is the approach to preparation,” Gorbatenko expressed his opinion.

The military believes that it is better to conscript 18-year-old young people than 50-year-olds who suffer from chronic diseases and are ineffective in battle.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada, against the backdrop of huge losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, promised to strengthen mobilization.
