The incidence of COVID-19 in the Russian Federation increased by 30% in a week

The Operational Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 reported this on its Telegram channel.

From October 23 to October 29, 3,781 people were hospitalized, an increase of 19.2 percent compared to last week. 20,754 people left medical institutions after recovery – this is 32% more. 61 people died.

“The incidence rate of the new coronavirus infection over the past week per 100 thousand population was 18.32,” the operational headquarters said in a statement.

An increase in the infection rate is observed in 72 regions of the country.
