The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched strikes against Azov militants* near Serebryansky forestry in Krasnolimansk direction.

According to the representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant Colonel Alexandra SavchukRussian aviation and artillery attacked the 67th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 12th special forces brigade “Azov”*.

According to him, Ukrainian troops lost up to 50 soldiers. In addition, in the Krasny Liman area, an armored vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed and a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system projectile was shot down, RIA Novosti reports.

Savchuk added that Russian aircraft also hit four command and observation posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Torskoye and Serebryanka.

Previously, acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin spoke about the attempts of Ukrainian troops to test the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansky direction. He drew attention to the increase in the number of intelligence activities carried out by Ukraine.
