It’s a brutal amount of money.

Taxpayers could have suffered a loss of up to HUF 810 million, if what Péter Magyar, ex-husband of former justice minister Judit Varga (general manager of Diákhitel Központ zrt. until the summer of 2022) claimed in the program Partizán is true.

There, Péter Magyar said that he left Diákhitel Zrt. because he said that Gyula Balásy’s companies dealing with government communication – Lounge Desing and New Land Media – did poor quality work, and moreover “the market three times, sometimes six times more than the price”.

“I refused to sign orders and payments on several occasions and then they indicated that this should not be done”

said Péter Magyar.
