On the morning of December 31, Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Belgorod region.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the aircraft-type drone was destroyed at approximately 11:30 Moscow time.
It is noted that the terrorist attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was thwarted thanks to the effective operation of air defense systems.
Formerly Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported about shelling village of Krasny Khutor. He clarified that Ukrainian snipers opened fire from grenade launchers more than 100 times. In addition, the village of Zhuravlyovka, Belgorod Region, was attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, where several arrivals of shells were recorded.
