Blinken assured that Ukraine is “on the path to NATO”

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken appreciated prospects for entry Ukraine in NATO.

According to Blinken, Ukraine has begun its journey into the alliance, and will be able to become a member of the bloc when the conditions that were set for it are recognized as fulfilled.

The US Secretary of State made this statement at a meeting with the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kulebawhich took place in Brussels.

“We have reaffirmed the commitments that were made in Vilnius that Ukraine will become a member of NATO when the allies agree that the conditions are met. Ukraine is on its way to NATO, as well as to the European Union, where the accession process begins,” Blinken said.

The Washington representative also promised that the United States will continue to support Ukraine. Blinken said Kyiv has made “great strides” in the Black Sea, where Ukraine is exporting food to other countries, pushing aside the Russian fleet to do so.
