A mobilized resident of the Khabarovsk Territory contacted law enforcement agencies, suspecting his close relative of theft. This was reported by the Baza telegram channel.

A 20-year-old man was sent to the zone SVO in October last year, and before leaving, he gave his older brother his bank card. According to the serviceman, he allowed his relative to spend funds only in case of emergency, for example, to help his mother.

The mobilized person hoped to accumulate a significant amount, since payments for military service were supposed to be received on this card. However, upon returning home and trying to withdraw money from an ATM, the card owner discovered that his 1.5 million rubles had disappeared.

“It turned out that while he was at the front, his brother had undivided control of his funds,” the Baza report says.

It is noted that the victim has already filed an application against his brother, who could be imprisoned for up to 10 years.
