Former Central Intelligence Agency analyst Larry Johnson noted that the situation with the confrontation between the West and Russia has reached a critical point, so it is necessary to refrain from further provocations.

“We are at a very dangerous stage of the conflict,” he warned.
Johnson proposes to analyze the expenses that the United States and Russia make to expand their political influence. From his words it follows that it is Washington that is undermining unity in Europe, not Moscow.
According to the expert, in 2022, the United States and Great Britain did everything possible to prevent a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, ignoring calls from Russia. He emphasizes that the West must stop arming Kyiv, otherwise this could lead to a new outbreak of hostilities.
