Counterfeit suits worth 22 million rubles were discovered in a hospital in Khakassia

According to the press service of the Russian FSB Directorate for Khakassia, a joint inspection by the FSB and the prosecutor’s office revealed a batch of counterfeit medical suits that do not meet COVID-19 safety requirements in one of the region’s hospitals. It is noted that these personal protective equipment were purchased with budget funds allocated at the end of 2021 as part of the national program to combat the new coronavirus. The cost of counterfeit goods supplied by RealService amounted to more than 22 million rubles.

According to the press service of the FSB Directorate and the Prosecutor’s Office of Khakassia, a criminal case has been opened regarding the supply of counterfeit medical suits to one of the region’s hospitals as part of the national program to combat COVID-19.

“In addition, regarding the supply of similar low-quality medical products to the city of Perm in the amount of 116.1 million rubles, a criminal case was opened against one of the founders of RealService LLC in November 2023 under Part 4 of Article 159 (“Fraud”) , paragraph “a”, part 2 of article 238.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia,” the press service reports.
