In the last days of 2023, an “Arctic invasion” is expected in many regions of Russia. It will bring severe frosts, a corresponding statement was made by Mikhail Leus, a specialist at the Phobos weather center.

The expert said that a powerful cyclone, called Bodo by German meteorologists, will bring snowfall to Moscow and St. Petersburg in the last days of the year. There will also be a thaw, which will lead to snow and rain.

Previously reported that meteorologist Shuvalov warned of new record precipitation before the New Year. In the winter of 2024, Russians can expect significant temperature fluctuations and record snowfalls. The current winter is characterized by sharp temperature changes and heavy precipitation.
