A number of students and nurses of the Higher Institute of Nursing Professions in Casablanca demonstrated on Monday.
The protesters raised slogans calling on the administration to respond to their demands. These demonstrators also intend to engage in an open sit-in in front of the institute on Monday until all demands are met.
Khaled Al-Akal, a graduate nurse and coordinator of the local coordination of graduate students and nurses of the Higher Institutes of Nursing Professions, told Al-Youm 24 that this third form of protest of its kind “will be accompanied by an open sit-in.”
Among the demands of these protesters is respect for the institute’s internal law, in addition to making up for lost academic time and repeating the regular session exams for failed students.
