Director from Donetsk Vladimir Agranovichwho directed the first series about a special military operation called “Mobilization” and is working on its sequel (the film “Reservists”), expressed a desire to film the actor Vladimir Mashkov in your future work. He could play the role of his father, the company commander Alexandra Agranovich in a feature film about Donbass.

“My dream is to film Mashkov. I remember watching the film “The Thief” dozens of times as a child, he is a hero for me. <…> We want to create a film based on my book about my father, I wrote it much earlier, and it fits well. But this, of course , some kind of ideal picture, dreams, although it would be great,” Agranovich said.

He also expressed respect for Mashkov for his a clear position regarding SVO. He remembered standing next to the actor at a rally in Moscow in support of referendums.

Agranovich noted that Mashkov played military characters well and even resembles his father, especially with the beard.

In addition to Mashkov, the director also mentioned the actress Polina Agureevawhich he would like to involve in the filming of his project, since he considers her work brilliant and sees her in an episode of “Reservists”.
