All events are assigned a high class M. Let us recall that manifestations of solar activity are categorized into five classes – from the weakest A to the most powerful X – depending on the power of radiation reaching the Earth.
The flares were recorded in the X-ray range by the Elektro-L and GOES meteorological satellites.
They did not cause a magnetic storm on Earth, although scientists have not yet ruled it out.
“The invasion of near-Earth space by proton fluxes in a wide range of energies continues,” the message explains.
