Chic caps of hydrangeas can turn your garden into a real paradise. Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, landscape designer, shared with “Belnovosti” an interesting fact about this plant: the ability to change its color depending on the acidity of the soil.

This magical effect is especially pronounced in large-leaved hydrangeas. To give your flower a rich pink hue, simply reduce the acidity of the soil. Add dolomite, lime, chalk and phosphorus and your hydrangeas will bloom like pink clouds.
If you dream of blue caps, provide the hydrangea with acidic soil rich in aluminum.
To create stunning blue flowers, add aluminum sulfate or colloidal sulfur to the soil and water the hydrangeas with sour vinegar (at a dose of 100 milliliters per 10 liters of water) twice a month. Keep the proportions right and your garden will come alive with the magic of colorful hydrangeas.
