“Some people mistakenly believe that by limiting their physical activity, they help their joints,” explained Proshchaev.
In fact, according to Proshchaev, the amount of synovial fluid, which is an important element in the functioning of joints, depends on the efficiency of the capillary network.
“Without movement, only one out of five capillaries works, while with physical activity, four or even all five are activated,” the doctor explained.
