Triple Olympic champion and deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Irina Rodnina expressed her opinion about life in Moscow and New York.

Rodnina herself lived in the USA from 1990 to 2002.

The State Duma deputy agreed that life in these two cities is very different.

“Life in the USA is completely different than in Russia. Of course, life and tourism should not be confused. But Moscow is now much better for living than New York,” Rodnina said in a conversation with Sports.ru.

The ten-time world champion believes that the architecture of Moscow is much more beautiful and interesting than that of New York. Therefore, if the question arises of choosing between these two cities, she, according to her, chooses Moscow.

Previously figure skater Tatiana Navka admitted that she really didn’t like living in America, and now, in her words, it’s “a complete nightmare” – very dirty and a huge number of homeless people.
