Markov said that this morning the Russian Armed Forces attempted to go on the offensive in the Avdeevka area.
“The strongest blow was dealt by missiles, artillery and aviation in the entire time of the Northern Military District,” the political scientist wrote in his Telegram channel.
He noted that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are seeking to take fire control over the Ukrainian Armed Forces supply route from Avdeevka to Orlovka.
Markov said that Avdeevka is important, since this settlement is
a suburb of Donetsk, where huge defensive systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are concentrated.
