Three-time Olympic champion, 11-time world champion Tarjei Boe intervened in a conversation that took place between an athlete from Sweden Sebastian Samuelsson and journalists in the mixed zone. The athlete gave an interview after the pursuit race at the 2024 World Championships in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) ended. The Swede talked about how the fight for 5th place in the pursuit took place. Bo couldn’t help but intervene in the interview.

“If it was about gold on the last lap, I would have overtaken Tarjei. Then I would have had additional motivation,” VG quotes Samuelsson as saying.

Boe believes that the Swede constantly talks nonsense, and others believe it. Samuelsson believes that Tarey Boe was furious on the track and is sure that the Swedes are not able to fight. The Norwegian replied that the Swede talks too much. Boe was able to beat Samuelsson during the final lap.

“And now he can only talk about it. Typical Sebbe (laughs),” added Boe.

We remind you that the Norwegian came fifth in this race. On the lines he missed four times. Samuelsson was sixth, let’s say three misses.
