Evstigneeva emphasizes that excluding mayonnaise and ketchup from the diet is worth it for those diagnosed with insulin resistance. This condition may underlie diseases such as diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome.
For patients with these diagnoses, the doctor recommends following a proper diet, including only natural foods that do not contain taste stimulants, which can stimulate excess food intake. Therefore, mayonnaise and ketchup are also not recommended for those who are trying to lose weight.
