Employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Oktyabrsky district of the city of Saratov are conducting a pre-investigation investigation into reports that an 11-year-old girl was thrown out of a minibus during a snowstorm.

The reason for such actions was problems with paying for travel with a bank card. Information about the incident published in its Telegram channel by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, the Versiya-Saratov publication referred to the statement of the schoolgirl’s mother, who claimed that on Monday afternoon the girl was dropped off from minibus No. 13. According to her, the fare was written off three times.

After the investigators of the Investigative Committee establish all the circumstances of the incident, a proper legal assessment of the activities of the transport company in providing passenger transportation services will be given.

Since 2021, Russia has had a law prohibiting the removal from public transport of children under 16 years of age traveling unaccompanied by adults. The legal norm also applies in the case of ticketless travel.
