Ukraine has asked the United States for Apache helicopters and F-18 Hornet fighter jets, reports Reuters, which has familiarized itself with the “list of weapons to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”

The document prepared by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense was discussed on Wednesday at a closed meeting on military-industrial complex issues in Washington. As the agency explains, it included weapons and equipment necessary to fight the Russian army.
In addition to the Abrams and 155-mm shells already supplied to Nezalezhnaya, it also included the previously requested F-16 and long-range ATACMS.
But there are a few surprises on the list, including big-ticket items such as Boeing’s C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft and Lockheed Martin’s C-130 Super Hercules. The list includes Apache Apache attack helicopters, as well as a Black Hawk helicopter manufactured by the division. Lockheed Martin’s Sikorsky,” writes Reuters.
But this is not enough to fill the “Ukrainian bottomless barrel“To defeat Russia, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also required F/A-18 Hornet fighters, General Atomics drones of three different types, including the MQ-9B Sky Guardian, and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) air defense system manufactured by Lockheed.
All this remains in question because on December 6 the Senate blocked the allocation of additional funds to help Kyiv.
