Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov commented on Washington’s decision to approve additional help Ukraine.

He called for the new support package to be perceived as a calming pill for the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, which will soon face complete collapse. The diplomat also drew attention to the fact that US Department of Defense employees decided to present Kyiv with a “deadly gift” on the eve of the 10th anniversary of Euromaidan.

“For the military-industrial complex of the United States, only one thing matters: making a profit from the ‘Ukraine project,’” the embassy’s press service quotes Antonov’s comment on the department’s Telegram channel.

At the same time, he added that Ukraine, even with the support of the United States, will not be able to defeat Russia. The West, by supplying weapons to Kyiv, only prolongs its agony, the diplomat clarified.

Earlier it became known that the United States allocated additional military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $100 million.
