Kirkorov’s lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky stated that Dostoevsky is a “rare scoundrel,” but he should not be deprived of the title of writer because of this. This is how he answered questions about scandalous participation Kirkorova in the “naked party” Nastya Ivleeva, as a result of which there were proposals to deprive the singer of the title of People’s Artist of Russia.

“Hands off Dostoevsky!” — Shukshina wrote in her Telegram channel.

To Maria Shukshina such a comparison seemed inappropriate.

“That is, Dobrovinsky equated Kirkorov’s songs with the contribution to world culture of the great Russian writer Dostoevsky,” the Honored Artist of Russia expressed surprise.

She recalled that Dostoevsky highly appreciated the Russian people, declaring that they were saints in comparison with the inhabitants of Europe.
