“Mercury retrograde is an astronomical phenomenon that occurs when the planet Mercury appears to be moving backward in its orbital path relative to Earth. This is an optical illusion caused by differences in the orbital speeds of Earth and Mercury. Scientifically speaking, Mercury does not change its direction of motion, it continues to move in its orbit around the Sun as always. Thus, Mercury retrograde is nothing more than a perception from Earth and has no physical impact on our planet or its inhabitants,” he said.
