Let us remember that before this the skater stated that a shoulder injury would not allow her to take part in the Spartakiad. At the beginning of 2023, it was announced that Kostornaya had started pair skating and would perform with Georgiy Kunitsa.
The coach said that the exact date of the skater’s surgery is still unknown, since there are many factors influencing it.
“She’s doing something, well done, she’s doing what she can,” Roslyakov said.
Kostornaya and Kunitsa did not participate in the Russian jumping championship, which took place in the Russian capital on January 19-22.
