The Czech Republic explained itself to Russia for helping Ukraine

Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN, Jakub Gulkanekexpressed confidence that the Czech Republic’s support for Ukraine complies with international law.

The statement was published in response to Russian accusations against the Czech Republic regarding the supply of ammunition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Prague also confirmed its support for Kyiv in the current conflict. Let us recall that the previous event was the massive shelling of the city of Belgorod by Ukrainian troops, which led to numerous casualties.

Russia accused the Czech Republic of supplying ammunition used to attack civilian infrastructure. In response, the Czech Republic refused to participate in the convening of the UN Security Council, which caused criticism from Russia.
