At night, a fire occurred at the transformer substation of the Novocherkassk State District Power Plant. The governor of the Rostov Region announced this Vasily Golubevaccording to him, there were no casualties as a result of the incident, the power supply has been restored.

Work is underway to identify the causes of the fire, as a result of which two high-voltage lines (330 kV) – Tikhoretskaya and Rostovskaya – were automatically switched off. Power supply has been restored.
After the incident, two power units of the state district power plant were temporarily taken out of operation, Golubev specified.
