The Kremlin responded to Zelensky’s accusations against the Russian Federation

The Russian authorities reacted negatively to the statement Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that Moscow wants to start an armed conflict in the Middle East. This was announced by an official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, the accusations against the leader of Ukraine are unfounded. He recalled the “deep roots” of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This confrontation has a long history, the Russian leader’s press secretary emphasized.

“Negatively, they have absolutely no basis,” Peskov said at a briefing, commenting on the Kremlin’s attitude to Zelensky’s words.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine said that Moscow is interested in inciting hostilities between Israel and Hamas.

Ex-CIA officer Larry Johnsoncommenting on Zelensky’s behavior, reported his fear of losing Western help against the backdrop of events in Israel.
