The Minister of Justice adopts the fingerprint to monitor employees’ attendance during work hours – Today 24

Starting next Tuesday, January 2, 2024, the Ministry of Justice will begin monitoring employees’ access to the administration via fingerprint.

It was stated in a correspondence sent by the Minister of Justice, Abdel Latif Wehbe, to the Secretary General of the Ministry, the Ministry’s inspector, and the managers, regarding respecting official working hours and monitoring and tracking the actual attendance of employees to their workplaces, that it was decided to resume the work of the access control system through the place designated for that only, starting on Tuesday 02 January 2024, with the personal access card replaced by the fingerprint via the electronic fingerprint reader.

The Minister urged officials to ensure the implementation of these measures, in order to effectively rationalize administrative time.
