The Ministry of Agriculture proposed to increase the quota for grain exports abroad

At the end of last year, experts from the Institute of Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) suggested that in 2023 Russia could increase wheat exports in July-December to a record 36.7 million tons of grain after 29.8 million tons for the same period in 2022. According to ICAR, such volumes could allow the Russian Federation to increase its share in the world wheat market from 22 to 25% in the past season.
