The Ministry of the Interior announced the organization of partial elections to fill two vacant seats in the House of Representatives, in the southern Fez district and Benslimane.
The elections come in accordance with the decision of the Constitutional Court last month, which declared Abdelkader Boussiri stripped of his status as a member of the House of Representatives for the southern Fez district. The second seat belongs to Saeed Al-Zaidi, who lost his representation in the Benslimane constituency.

According to a decree of the Prime Minister published in the latest issue of the Official Gazette, partial elections will be held in the two aforementioned electoral districts on Tuesday, April 23, while Thursday, April 4, has been set for the start of receiving individual nomination statements, until April 9. Election campaigns will take place between April 10 and 22.
