The Sunday Times: China’s EVE Energy will produce batteries for electric vehicles in the UK

Chinese electric vehicle battery maker EVE Energy wants to build a plant in the Coventry area of the UK. The Sunday Times writes about this, citing sources. According to the publication, the company is ready to invest at least £1.2 billion ($1.5 billion) in an enterprise with a total capacity of 20 GWh, and then expand production to 60 GWh. The EVE Energy plant will therefore be twice as powerful as the national plant built by Nissan, the largest in Britain to date.
