According to the operational service of the Kherson region, the Russian Armed Forces inflicted fire damage on the enemy. This led to the destruction of two boats and ten Ukrainian soldiers attempting to land on the island.
In addition, Russian troops eliminated a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants on the right bank. As the operational service explained, 20 Ukrainian soldiers were killed near the small railway bridge.
Previously the head of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo stated that small groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may be hiding in the thickets on the left bank of the Dnieper, which are unlikely to advance further through the region.
