On the night of November 20, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that air defense systems in Elektrostal shot down a drone flying towards the capital. He noted that, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties or destruction. The Russian Defense Ministry said that an attempt by the Kyiv regime to commit a terrorist attack using an aircraft-type UAV on targets in the capital and region was stopped on November 19 at 23.20.

“As you know, air defense forces in the city district of Elektrostal repelled an attack by a drone flying towards Moscow. There was no destruction or casualties at the site where the debris fell,” Volkova noted in her official TG channel.

According to her, emergency services specialists are already working at the scene. All circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
