Vladimir Solovyov criticized Yandex

In his program, the famous Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov expressed sharp criticism of Yandex, accusing the company of deceiving people. The TV star claims that the search engine provides distorted information about him personally. When searching for his name in the search bar, according to Solovyov, information about his membership in the community of journalists is not displayed, writes argumenti.ru.

“If you type Vladimir Solovyov into the search bar, you get the definition that he is a Russian propagandist, while a request for Gordon’s name indicates his status as a journalist,” Solovyov said with some dissatisfaction.

However, apparently personal grudge is not the only reason for the TV presenter’s criticism of the search engine. During the “Full Contact” program, Vladimir Solovyov expressed the opinion that Yandex is following the path of the American Google, deliberately distorting the facts.

As an example, Soloviev suggested entering the names of Bandera and Hitler into the search bar. According to him, Yandex describes Bandera as a Ukrainian politician, and Hitler as a German, which, according to the TV presenter, indicates bias. At the same time, when asked about Dmitry Utkin the search engine, according to Solovyov, puts the tag “Russian neo-Nazi” and quotes the opinion of a journalist from Tsargrad.
