What happened on March 26: a day in history

Every year on March 26, many countries around the world celebrate Epilepsy Day, also known as Purple Day. This holiday was invented in 2008 by a nine-year-old girl from Canada, Cassidy Megan, who suffered from this disease from an early age and had already experienced the negative attitude of others. She told everyone about the disease and proved that there was nothing terrible about it, that she was the same as all the other children. A year later, her initiative was supported by many students, politicians, and public organizations. Gradually the celebration spread throughout the world.
