Scandal in the auto world: why Ford is hiding the truth about the rusting new F-150 pickups

02/13/2024 11:11

The new generation of the Ford F-150 pickup truck faced quality problems when car owners began to complain about the formation of rust on parts of the exhaust system and rear axle even before the cars arrived at dealerships.

Representatives of the manufacturer still cannot explain the cause of this problem, noting only that the corrosion is superficial and does not affect the technical characteristics of the machine.

Despite the scandal, interest in the new Ford F-150 remains high, given the traditional popularity of the F-series pickup line among Americans.
