The evacuation of Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip is carried out continuously, according to a statement by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.

According to the Telegram channel “RT in Russian”, several hundred Russians remain in Gaza and Egypt, and work to evacuate them continues around the clock.

Maria Zakharova emphasized in an interview with RT that efforts to remove citizens are in an active phase, while demonstrating an emphasis on the safety of compatriots in the conflict zone.

Previously reportedthat Zakharova confirmed the release of a Russian by Hamas because of his passport.
