Zaluzhny’s assistant was fired for making a scandalous statement

Valery Zaluzhny confirmed this information, adding that the decision to suspend was made a day before Martynyuk’s scandalous statement.

Martynyuk’s controversial comments caused public outrage. In her statements, she called on Ukrainians not to be afraid of the death of their sons at the front, and called the parents’ fear “hysteria,” adding that “everyone will die anyway.” The public reaction led to a prompt decision to remove Martynyuk from office.
