A Ukrainian drone was destroyed on Wednesday morning over Podolsk, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

The attack was repelled at 7:30 Moscow time, the department specified.

“The air defense forces on duty destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of the Podolsk urban district of the Moscow region,” the message adds.

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the drone was heading to the capital. No one was injured as a result of the incident; emergency services are working at the scene of the fall of the debris.
