Three members of the US House of Representatives have proposed an investigation into the company SpaceX, which is led by Elon Musk. The proposal comes as a result of a recent Reuters investigation alleging that a large number of work-related injuries have occurred at SpaceX facilities in the US.

Since 2014, more than 600 workers have been injured at construction sites, assembly plants and other SpaceX facilities, and one incident resulted in the death of one employee, according to the agency. Company workers interviewed by reporters reported that the company did not pay enough attention to safety procedures, which led to serious injuries, including fractures, lacerations, traumatic brain injuries and burns.

After the Reuters investigation was published, three Democratic legislators representing states such as California and New Jersey expressed serious concerns about the data presented. Congressman Mark Takano of California, who sits on the House Education and Labor Market Committee, said safety violations at SpaceX facilities are unacceptable, especially given the company’s cooperation with the federal government. Congressman Donald Norcross from New Jersey stated that it is necessary to take a closer look at the data presented and conduct an investigation.

We previously reported that political scientist Sergei Markov explained the positions of both Musk and Donald Trump in relation to Russia – that both of them are far from being for it.
